On the heels of a Royal Rumble that saw legendary wrestler HHH crowned WWE champion for the 14th time, the wrestling federation decided to up the nostalgia ante by teasing the return of another legend. Was it The Undertaker? Stone Cold Steve Austin? Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy?

Well the fact that the show was taking place in Miami should have told you everything you needed to know.

After toying with The Miz and The Big Show (teasing an alternate realty where Big Show, and not he, was a Hollywood star) and hugging it out with Rick Ross, Dwayne Johnson made his way to a WWE ring that old familiar way.

While cutting a promo in the ring, Rocky noticed a group of fans dressed up like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, The Undertaker and himself and decided to go investigate.

Once back in the ring, he was greeted by The New Day and the reigning tag team champs got into a smacktalk showdown with The Rock. Urkel was referenced, because, well, because.

And of course it wouldn’t have been a Rocky return without a People’s Elbow thrown in there somewhere.

The Rock didn’t actually say anything concrete about his plans for Wrestlemania 50, leaving fans to wonder if the fallout of the upcoming match between Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesner will influence who he faces, if anyone. Regardless, just the presence of the most bankable movie star in the world should be enough to sell some tickets.
