Netflix just made a huge addition to their service yesterday, providing users the ability to (finally) download content, meaning we can now (finally) watch our favorite Netflix movies and shows offline. This is certainly a game-changer for users that travel much, as well as users that are forced to frequently be located in some WiFi-less hellscape. And the good news keeps coming, as we’re entering a new month, so we have plenty of new Netflix movie and show arrivals!

We’ll see many notable titles on Netflix today, with Animal House, Beverly Hills Cop, Black Snake Moan, D2: The Mighty Ducks, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and The Rock being among the December 1 arrivals.

The Netflix Originals on the month include Barry (a biopic on Barack Obama in college), White Rabbit Project (a new show from the Mythbusters folks), and Season 2 of Fuller House (yes, they made a second season of this).

And the headliner of the month is the Marvel blockbuster film Captain America: Civil War, which will hit Netflix on Christmas Day.

The bad news is that we’ll also lose some selections on Netflix this month, such as Top Gun and American Beauty.

Here’s a full look at what’s coming to Netflix in December: (I’ve put some notable titles in bold to try to help you out, but keep in mind there may be some selections you find more important than I do):

December 1
Always (1989)
Angels in the Snow (2015)
Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

Eddie Murphy? Check. An awesome Detroit Lions varsity jacket? Check. One of the best theme songs in movie history? Check.

Beyond Bollywood (2014)
Black Snake Moan (2007)
Chill with Bob Ross: Collection (1990)
Compulsion (1959)
D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994)

The second installment of the Mighty Ducks films features a very believable plot. A pee wee hockey coach from Minnesota is chosen to coach the United States in the Junior Goodwill Games, and then fills the team with pretty much his entire pee wee roster (because we know all the best players in the country happened to be on this one random pee wee team that had been an underdog in their very own league), except for five newcomers that include a cowboy who likes to lasso players on the ice, a street hockey player who specializes in shooting a “knucklepuck”, and a figure skater. Needless to say, this film is a must-see.

David Blaine: Street Magic (1997)
Dreamland (2010)
For the Love of Spock (2016)

Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce: Season 2 (2015)

Harry and the Hendersons (1987)
Hitler: A Career (1977)
Holiday Engagement (2011)
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989)

In all seriousness, perhaps more realistic than the D2 plotline.

House of Wax (2006)
Hannibal (2001)
Merli: Season 1 (Netflix Original)
Merry Kissmas (2015)
National Lampoon’s Animal House (1978)

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Certainly the main attraction of the month and perfectly timed for some Christmas viewing. Captain America: Civil War just hit theaters in May and got tremendous reviews, including from our Ian Casselberry:

At face value, Captain America: Civil War shouldn’t work as a movie. Other superhero franchises have stumbled badly when including far too many characters, resulting in an overstuffed story that has to cater to each important figure in the storyline and eventually buckles under its own weight. Additionally, superhero movies poised as middle chapters intended to set up future stories don’t often stand well on their own.

Yet Civil War works wonderfully, serving as the culmination of Marvel’s ambitious plan to establish a cinematic universe akin to what fans have enjoyed for decades in the comic books.

TCB’s Jay Rigdon also gave us three reasons Civil War topped Batman v Superman.
