Finding the perfect wedding dress is a considerable challenge for many looking to get married. For Diane Nguyen, it wasn’t super hard, as she landed an incredible dress designer: Taco Bell.
Nguyen posted an amazing photo on Instagram of herself wearing a wedding dress made entirely from burrito wrappers. I don’t know who made the dress or how they acquired so many wrappers (they do love Taco Bell…), but the design is stupendous.
The reason for the creation? Nguyen is hoping to win the Taco Bell “Love and Tacos” contest, where a couple will get an all-expense trip to the recently-opened Taco Bell chapel in Las Vegas. Yes, that’s a real thing.
Nguyen’s announcement was filled with more puns than imaginably possible.
“It’s time to spill the beans. We have been engaged for 4 years, and together for 10. Taco Bell has been there through the years, from the after school runs, to late meals after work (or a night of partying). Our love for each other is as cheesy as a quesadilla. We’re nachos getting married, it’s going to be a Las Vegas tacover. Personally, for me, Taco Bell is a great short-term play, but an awful long-term eating habit – if you catch my drift. But, who am I to judge Nguyen’s big dream? If she wants to get married in a burrito wrapper dress, then damn it, she should. Plus, she’d be the most appropriate recipient to get married at a Taco Bell chapel.
