I’m not going to lie, I like Ed Sheeran. Perhaps that makes me a British teenager, but I don’t care. His songs are catchy, and I will occasionally play them loudly in my apartment.

However, I do not like Ed Sheeran as much as Sonia Bryce of Willenhall, England likes Ed Sheeran. She loves him so much that she loudly blasted his song, “Shape of You,” on repeat in her home.

According to ITV, Bryce’s landlords went to court to get an order for her to stop being an nuisance, meaning she could no longer play “Shape of You” loudly. She did anyway, so a judge sent her to jail for six weeks in December.

You would think that would deter this Ed Sheeran fan from playing his songs even more. That probably wouldn’t be worth it, right?

Well, you would be wrong. Bryce was sentenced to eight weeks in jail this March for playing the song on a loop for half an hour once again.

The judge gave her an 8 week jail sentence and told the mother of three:

“You must learn that you should behave as a reasonable and responsible adult and not make life for your neighbours the misery that you have.”

We’ll be back in eight weeks to see what happens next.
