Don Cherry thinks the Senators are a bit feminine

That didn't take long. The second round just got underway and Don Cherry already said something that angered fans, specifically those supporting the Ottawa Senators. What did he say this time? He ripped on the Ottawa Senators for a variety of things outside of their play on the ice, alluding to the fact that they have some feminine qualities.

Cherry slams Daniel Alfredsson for his hair and the fact he wears a barrette to keep his long locks out of his face. He also calls out a group of Senators for their lack of focus, claiming they're too busy talking about fashion while treating us all to a somewhat horrifying fake female voice.

No one will argue the Senators lacked focus and intensity in their Game 1 loss, but are we really stooping to the level where it's appropriate to call out a player for his hair or claim players are giggling about fashion on the bench? How a player elects to wear his hair, along with what goes in it, is up to him. Feel free to ridicule Alfredsson's play on the ice, but keep the grade school insults out of it. Given Cherry's love for fashion, as seen in his ridiculous outfits, it's odd hearing him try to use fashion as an insult.

When it comes to talking about manliness in hockey, do we even need to mention Cherry's history of planting big kisses on hockey players?
