Video: Frazer McLaren knocks out Dave Dziurzynski

Dave Dziurzynski only has nine games of NHL experience with the Ottawa Senators this season, and this might be one of those nine that he'd like to forget — if he can remember it to begin with. The rookie made the mistake of going toe-to-toe with Toronto Maple Leafs tough guy Frazer McLaren, just 26 seconds into the game. It was a quick fight with a scary ending for Dziurzynski:

The rookie dropped to the ice like a sack of potatoes and laid there absolutely unconscious as the trainers tended to him. You could say his teammates had to help him from the ice, but that would necessitate Dziurzunski being able to participate in that. "Steered" is probably a better word for it.

The young forward did not return to the game and is presumably being looked at for concussion like symptoms. Another injury for the Senators, and this time a completely avoidable one.
