You can't judge a fan base by a newspaper which employs a reporter who wrote about his own junk, so let's not jump to conclusions. You can debate the schematics of the hit on Lars Eller by Eric Gryba all that you want to, but when Eller hit the ice a vast majority of Senators fans acted with legitimate concern.
Montreal fans weren't happy with the hit, and they're going to be even more offended by what the Ottawa Sun has cooked up for today:

Wow. Sens fans are embarrassed, Habs fans are pissed off, and the Sun moves papers. At least they don't have a good reputation to uphold any more. Bad, bad form.
