Olli Jokinen’s quest to play on every NHL team takes another step forward

Olli Jokinen signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract to skate with the Nashville Predators. On the surface, the Jokinen signing is easy to overlook considering the fireworks from the league’s first day of free agency. However, it’s a special contract as it marks the eighth team Jokinen has played for during his NHL career.

Here’s the list of Jokinen’s teams:
1. Kings
2. Islanders
3. Panthers
4. Coyotes
5. Flames (Two different times)
6. Rangers
7. Jets
8. Predators

If you’re having a hard time picturing Jokinen with all of those squads, a user over on Reddit Hockey made this awesome collage:

Jokinen’s total is impressive, but the 35-year-old needs to pick up his pace if he wants to top Mike Sillinger’s 12-team voyage through the NHL.
