Calvin de Haan mocks a troll on Twitter

Trolls on Twitter are the absolute worst. They try to get under your skin and they distract from the main point you are trying to make. I am only a lowly sports writer and I can’t even imagine what an athlete’s Twitter account must look like.

We got a tiny glimpse when Calvin de Haan of the New York Islanders put one troll on blast.

Ouch. It’s clear de Haan isn’t messing around. Reyer acknowledges on his Twitter that he meant to say flat footed, nonetheless, he got roasted pretty quickly for his typo.

Who knows, maybe this inspires de Haan to work on his speed and maybe this will teach the fan a lesson about publicly bashing a player. Maybe this wasn’t such a bad interaction after all.
