Champions Hockey League game produces bone-crushing hit

The Champions Hockey League is a fun tournament involving the best in European hockey. They can produce great hockey and at times some memorable moments. HC Davos of the NLA in Switzerland took on Rouen of France in their first Champions Hockey League group match. Olivier-Dame Malka of Rouen set the tone in a big way with this bone-crushing hit.

While the hit on Marc Wieser was humongous, the commentators may make the video even better. The audible “pfft” is outstanding. The hit ended up getting Dame-Malka ejected and partly caused Rouen to lose the game 4-1, but he will always have this highlight to savor. Hits don’t get much better than this.
