Report: Evander Kane has 2 crime reports filed against him

Evander Kane has reportedly had two crime reports filed against him after an incident at a Buffalo bar this week. WIVB reports that Kane and his group were escorted out of the bar on Thursday night, but details on the actual incident(s) are limited.

From the report:

The crime reports relate to an alleged incident following Kane’s appearance at a Buffalo bar called Bottom’s Up on Chippewa Street on Thursday night.

A group, including Kane, had been escorted from the bar Thursday night, according to the owner of Bottom’s Up. It’s not yet clear what crimes Kane is accused of committing.

Reports have surfaced suggesting that Kane was involved in a “commotion” in which he and his group were later ejected from the establishment. The AP reports that Kane physically harassed two women.

The person said Kane allegedly grabbed the woman by the arm or shoulder early Friday morning. The person said no charges have been filed and no one has been arrested.

Kane was previously investigated earlier this year relating to a sexual offense at the end of 2015. Ultimately no charges were pressed in that incident, but it remains to be seen whether formal charges will be filed against Kane in this instance.
