The All-Star Game’s Fan Fair will feature a cheese fountain

The fan fests which accompany NHL All-Star Games always feature familiar activities such as mini-games and the opportunity to take a photo with the Stanley Cup. This year, the Fan Fair has a new cheesy activity along with one giant wiener.

Ever heard or seen a cheese fountain? If you haven’t, the Fan Fair inside Music City Center will have one on display, thanks to VELVEETA. No word on whether snacks will be on hand for dipping.

Take a photo of the first-ever melty, cascading fountain of creamy VELVEETA cheese. Then take the Shoot for Liquid Gold hockey skills challenge for a chance to win $100,000 and All-Star tickets.

Sounds like a “look, but don’t touch” exhibit which makes absolutely no sense. Still, cheese is awesome so what the hell, right? It’s also worth noting that there’s no way this is the first-ever cheese fountain. A simple Google search will tell you that.

Oh, and the Wienermobile will be on hand.

The Fan Fair has a ton of other activities and sights which actually are related to hockey, but let’s be honest – it’s all about the cheese fountain.
