The KHL All-Star Game is nuts and it ended with a mascot fight

Russia is one weird country. We poke fun at it from time to time, but it still produces some of the oddest moments in all of the world. Naturally during their shootout skills competition they had a player light his stick on fire. I know Johnny Gaudreau wanted to do it but of course, in Russia they were able to do it. It is essentially the Wild West and they can do whatever the hell they want. So would you be surprised if I told that they had a mascot game that ended in a fight? No, no you wouldn’t.

The video starts out with the mascots being pushed around on sleds, which doesn’t make any sense at all. I can’t believe people paid money to sit around and watch that. I think the mascots may have gotten the hint as they started to pair off and get into some fisticuffs. The demonic snowman is god awful and most of the other mascots scare the living daylights out of me.

That isn’t the worst moment of it all though. One mascot’s head fell off. The greatest mascot sin of them all.

The moment when the head comes off you can see the absolute terror. Poor guy. I am excited to see how they could possibly top this next year.
