The Nashville Predators may have tweeted out some sensitive information

The offseason may have just started but some teams are so darn excited that they want to start sharing their plans with everyone. The Nashville Predators had a tweet which surely turned some heads in Tennessee. Someone had the bright idea of broadcasting some information that the front office may have not wanted to get out regarding Eric Nystrom.

Eric Nystrom trade thing

I am sure someone from the Predators PR team is going to be hearing an earful about this one. The tweet was only up for a short period of time before it was taken down. The first two responses  couldn’t be any more perfect. They explain exactly why you shouldn’t tweet out these trade rumors. The news may be out, but you want to protect your assets for all that they are worth.

As for Nystrom, it probably isn’t a bad idea that he be bought out or traded. I hope he didn’t find out via Twitter as that would be one sticky situation. Spending some time in the minor leagues this year, Nystrom has seen better days. At 33, he may not think his playing career is over, unfortunately for him, the writing is now on the wall.
