Video: Brad Marchand scores a goal from behind the goal line

The IIHF World Championships can be used as a developmental tournament for some countries while for others it is a chance to assert their dominance. Brad Marchand and Team Canada definitely fall into the latter category.

Take a look at this absurd goal.

Everything about that was absolutely fantastic. Marchand was a one-man wrecking crew on this play.

A lot of people around the league have had a tough time evaluating what Marchand is in the NHL. Is he a pest? Is he a goal scorer? Both? No matter what he does, he is pretty darn effective. Team Canada ended up winning this game by a score of 4-3 and will face Finland in the gold medal match.
