Video: CSN anchor pours one out for Capitals, advises kids to give up on their dreams

They say you gotta laugh to keep from crying. Comcast Mid Atlantic’s Michael Jenkins found a way to do just that after the President’s Cup winning Washington Capitals were eliminated in the second round against the Pittsburgh Penguins, as he “drank” the night away … on the air.

Now, he couldn’t have really drank on the air … because there are rules against that and he probably would have been fired by now. But still, this is pretty gosh darn hilarious. Especially the part where he tells children to give up on their dreams. Because if your child is a Capitals fan, he or she is probably having nightmares right now anyway. And if you want to accurately bring the pulse of the Caps fan to the local viewers, then Jenkins did just that.

Sorry, Caps fans. But hey, at least you got some good television out of it.

Jenkins also appeared in this “little brother” version of that video, to show that he was still trying to forget about what happened.
