Video: Jason Chimera scores a goal with his head

Jason Chimera’s goal against the Penguins may not have been intentionally scored off of his head, but that shouldn’t detract from the fact this was a rare case of a hockey player scoring with his helmet.

That’s one lucky bounce/deflection. Realistically, Marc-Andre Fleury probably should have trapped the puck or played it to the corner rather than trying to poke it up the middle, but no one could have expected the puck to find the back of the net off of Chimera’s lid.
