Video: Mikael Granlund dangles around U.S. defenders

Mikael Granlund wishes he was still competing for the Stanley Cup with the Minnestoa Wild, but he’s making the most of the situation by showing off some incredible moves with Finland against the U.S. at the 2016 IIHF World Championship.

Granlund wins a battle, but appears to be locked into the corner by Patrick Maroon and Connor Murphy. He has no trouble escaping.

That’s a crazy display of individual skill. Granlund literally creates a scoring chance when it looked like he had no options.

It’s rare you see hockey players look silly, but Granlund is able to make Maroon and Murphy look like pylons.
