Video: Mike Fisher scores triple overtime game winner

You might know him as Carrie Underwood’s husband. And that’s fine. But he’s Mike Fisher. And he gave new life to the Nashville Predators with an important and memorable triple overtime goal to lift the Preds to victory, and tie the series at 2-2.

This was some game, and you gotta give the Predators a lot of credit for treading water until Fisher’s goal. San Jose had long stretches of possession in the second and third overtimes, and they killed two Shea Weber penalties after they couldn’t cash in on two Shark penalties in the early overtimes. Pekka Rinne was outstanding and kept his team in it long enough for Fisher’s goal. And give Fisher credit for sneaking towards the goal when the Sharks were following the puck high.

The pivotal Game 5 is on Saturday at 10:00 ET. You might want to try to stay awake for that one.
