Video: Thomas Hickey blows up Jonathan Drouin

Physicality is a trademark of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Islanders and Lightning had been mostly missing that component, but that all changed in Game 3.

Thomas Hickey set the tone and destroyed Jonathan Drouin.

Drouin has such a low center of gravity, I don’t even know how Hickey caught him the way that he did. That hit was so incredibly brutal that I am surprised no penalty came of it.

Will Hickey receive a call for this hit?
