Brendan Gallagher on the shootout: “I have no moves and I hate the shootout”

Brendan Gallagher isn’t a fan of the shootout.

The Montreal Canadiens pest-extraordinaire appeared on TSN690, where he admitted he wasn’t a fan of the after-overtime tiebreaker.

Shootouts, after an initial positive reaction, have become a novelty, of sorts. Gallagher, who’s not exactly a great deker, isn’t afraid to admit he hates them.

With the NHL discussing adopting the international rules for shootouts (after the third round teams can repeatedly use the same shooter), maybe Gallagher will be spared from future shootout attempts.
