Panthers and Stars both wear white jerseys thanks to mix-up

Some fans would love for home teams to wear white jerseys again in the NHL. Those fans got their wish when the Florida Panthers hosted the Dallas Stars during a preseason game held in London, Ontario.

Unfortunately, there was some sort of mix-up and both teams ended up bringing their white uniforms to the game. Based on the official team websites, it looks like both may have been under the impression that their opponent was the home team.

If that looks confusing for the fans, imagine how hard it was to play or officiate with the two teams wearing nearly identical uniforms.

Mistakes like these don’t happen often and based on the photos alone, let’s all be thankful for that fact.
