Roberto Luongo was a good sport after getting roasted in the shootout

Roberto Luongo is one of the few personalities in the NHL. He always knows how to keep everything light-hearted and frame it all as a game. After getting taken down in the shootout, he was able to bring a little self-deprecating humor to Twitter.

Artemi Panarin turns him absolutely inside out. John Buccigross, the Sportscenter anchor and noted hockey fan, posted a video of the incident.

Luongo felt more than compelled to reply with his own personal feelings on the shakedown.

The poor guy. His coach just got let go and he has to deal with this disrespect in the shootout. If he continues on the current pace he is on though, this will all be in the rearview mirror as he could be winning himself a Vezina Trophy.

If it happens, surely we’ll be all glued to Twitter that day.
