Scott Darling’s Winter Classic goalie mask honors the Chicago Cubs

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling just gave St. Louis Blues fans another reason to boo his team at the Winter Classic. Darling’s new goalie mask for the Winter Classic has been revealed and it will give Blues fans the opportunity to voice their displeasure at both the Blackhawks and the Chicago Cubs all at once.

Here’s Darling’s new helmet:

Darling’s mask features the Wrigley sign, Harry Carey and Anthony Rizzo in a celebration of all things Cubs. The Cubs, who are coming off their first World Series win since 1908, are also the biggest rival of the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Blackhawks and the Cubs – two things despised by fans in St. Louis and both will be on display on January 2nd.
