Video: J.T. Brown smashes a fan’s phone after being ejected

Tampa Bay forward J.T. Brown wasn’t too happy after being ejected against the Nashville Predators on Monday night. Following a brawl with Nashville’s Ryan Ellis, Brown was escorted off the ice by an official. He barked at Nashville’s bench before knocking the phone out of the hands of a Predators fan.

And here’s a look at the incident from the perspective of the fan:

The fan reportedly won’t be pursuing legal action, but he has said he’d appreciate a new phone. As far as any disciplinary action from the Lightning or the NHL, the only official statement is that Tampa Bay is aware of the situation.

Photos of the broken phone and a longer video of the incident can be seen over on TMZ.
