John Scott named All Star Game MVP

Wow. What a stinkin weekend.

In a weekend that must have felt like a fairy tale for John Scott, the absolute cherry on top was Scott winning the MVP with two goals on Sunday. Scott had himself quite a night, one of the most memorable moments had to be his breakaway goal which was pretty damn impressive.

He also laid a hit on Patrick Kane and had a faux fight with Kane as well. That obviously drew rave reviews from the Nashville crowd.

After a tumultuous past couple of months for Scott that involved a trade and one strong guilt trip. Scott was lifted on his teammates shoulders. A special moment for all involved.

The fun all ended with a ceremony for Scott’s MVP trophy. He handled it with grace and poise, traits that many wouldn’t expect from the enforcer.

Have yourself an evening John Scott.
