Mitch Marner lays huge (illegal?) hit on Swedish player

The World Junior Championship is like March Madness. Any team can win any given game and all the players have such a strong stake in the game. It is unfortunate though that sometimes the games can see some nastiness.

William Nylander got rocked this tournament and Alex DeBrincat decided to give a bit of a hello to Travis Kocecny. Most recently Mitch Marner decided to get in on the action.

Marner may be finding himself sitting out the next game due to this hit. Carl Grundstrom of Sweden looked to be fine after the play but the damage has already been done. To make matters worse, Sweden won 5-2 against the much ballyhooed Canada team. Salt in the wound for the Canadians who now get to face a tough Finnish team.
