Video: Cam Talbot nearly decapitated by Adam Cracknell

There was a pretty frightening moment during the Canucks – Oilers game on Saturday night. Adam Cracknell chased a puck behind Edmonton’s goal, but his stick caught Cam Talbot in the head as he passed by, slamming the goaltender’s head into the post.

Talbot’s head nearly came off, but he managed to stay in the game.

Here’s the full play:

It’s pretty amazing that Talbot didn’t suffer a serious injury. The play was purely accidental, but it could have resulted in a nasty injury.
