The Toronto Maple Leafs traded a ton of players prior to the trade deadline and are officially building for the future. The remaining lineup is loaded with young skaters, including 22-year-old goaltender Garret Sparks.
If this save by Sparks on Valtteri Filppula is any indication, the future is bright for Toronto.
That’s a great stick save. Tampa Bay ended up winning 2-1, but this save by Sparks was the highlight of the night.
