Video: Joseph Blandisi scores between-the-legs goal

You may not know Joseph Blandisi. He was a sixth-round pick in 2012 selected by the Colorado Avalanche. During his time in junior hockey he played on three separate OHL teams over his six year career in the league. In his final year in the OHL, he was scoring at a near two point per game pace. His play was noticed by the New Jersey Devils and because of it, he has been a difference maker in his short time with the team.

Take a look at his power play goal that took place early Saturday.

That takes some real confidence to try and pull that off in a game of this magnitude. I mean, that would be a tough goal for every other NHLer, let alone a rookie, one year removed from junior hockey. Who knows if Blandisi will be a consistent player in this league, but he will at least have this memory from his time in the NHL.
