Video: Matt Dumba catches Patrick Kane with his head down

A reminder to all hockey players: Keep your head up.

Patrick Kane forgot this rule for a moment against the Minnesota Wild while playing the puck with his skates and Matt Dumba delivered a crunching blow which appeared to stun both skaters.

The Blackhawks weren’t happy with the hit, but Kane had his head down and extended. Dumba didn’t lead with an elbow or even a shoulder, but simply crashed into Kane. An awkward, yet powerful hit.
