Video: Ovechkin looked good in Russian charity basketball game

Alexander Ovechkin is amazing out on the ice, but it turns out that he’s a pretty solid athlete on the hardwood too. Ovechkin recently competed in a charity basketball game in Russia which was supporting a charity for children with cerebral palsy.

Check out his highlights:

Not too bad. Basketball does run in Ovie’s family as his mother, Tatyana, is a two-time gold medal winner (1976 and 1980) for the USSR. She currently runs the women’s national team in Russia.
