We’ve all been in the wrong place at the wrong time. The one time you don’t want to be in that position is when you are on TV in one of the biggest NHL games of the season.
The ref in this video is TJ Luxmore and I have to say I haven’t seen anyone do this without the whistle being blown. Jussi Jokinen took a real long look at Luxmore after the play and told him his thoughts.
Although it doesn’t look like the puck hit him, his positioning could not have been any worse. Thankfully, this type of rookie mistake didn’t prove to be a deciding factor.
