Video: Reto Berra allows a goal from the far blue line at the World Championships

Throw pucks at the net and good things happen. Reto Berra is the latest example of that after allowing a goal from the far blue line during the IIHF World Championships.

That’s a bad one. You can’t chalk this one up to a bad bounce or a crazy deflection. Berra likely lost the puck in the crowd and couldn’t pick it up again before it was already past him.

Berra commented about the goal after the game, via Puck Daddy:

“Someone who has never been a goalkeeper has no idea. It looks stupid, but shots from such a distance are difficult to keep.”
