Cristiano Ronaldo played the hero for Portugal in their 3-3 draw with Spain in the 2018 World Cup. He scored Portugal’s first with a penalty in the fourth minute, and gave them a 2-1 lead just before halftime thanks to a howler from David De Gea in net for Spain.

And then in the 87th minute, following a pair of goals by Spain, Ronaldo finished off his hat trick and saved a point for Portugal with this absolutely ridiculous free kick goal.

Jesus. Hold me. That is just ridiculous. That’s one of those goals that will be talked about for years to come, no matter how Portugal’s World Cup ends.

Spain and Portugal now sit tied in Group B with one point, behind Iran with three and ahead of Morocco with one.
