In mid-September, Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown celebrated a touchdown with some twerking and was given a penalty. This week, a different athlete was also penalized for the same odd dance moves.
On Sunday, the New England Revolution defeated the Montreal Impact 3-0. The third and final goal of the match came off the foot of Kei Kamara, and he decided to celebrate.
#ICYMI The most bizarre booking ever for former Middlesbrough striker Kei Kamara – booked for twerking…pic.twitter.com/YMqeZJIolF

Well Kei, don’t forget that if you twerk, you will be penalized.
That’s right, Kamara was given a yellow card for shaking his butt in a “twerking” motion. While the infraction didn’t impact the game at all, it does look a little ridiculous in the grand scheme of things.
After all, soccer players all around the world do some crazy things when they score and aren’t given yellow cards.
"@CelticGoals: GOAL! Dembele https://t.co/EYwyWwMbC2" <- love the celebration

Is this the new goal celebration that Firmino was speaking about yesterday? ⚽
Anyone know what on earth it's meant to be?! pic.twitter.com/HWBbXEnko2

The goal in question was Kamra’s seventh of the season in 21 games for New England. However, this is the first goal he has been penalized for due to his post-goal celebration.
With Brown and Kamara both being busted for twerking, it looks like the end of the move as a celebration could be fast approaching.
