Roma president James Pallotta dives into a fountain following his team's Champions League win.

In the Champions League Tuesday, AS Roma came up with an incredible 3-0 home win over Barcelona to take that quarterfinal series 4-4 on away goals, capped off by an incredible call from Roma broadcaster Carlo Zampa. And the team has been doing all sorts of celebrations since, with a particular highlight coming from club president James Pallotta (an American billionaire who co-owns the team and is also a co-owner of the Boston Celtics) diving into the famed fountain of the Piazza del Popolo:

It’s always nice to see people actually jump into water; Hue Jackson should take heed. And this is quite the celebration from Pallotta and the Roma fans, and it’s well-deserved, after few gave them a chance to come back against Barcelona following a 3-1 first-leg defeat. Even the team’s Twitter account was speechless:

They even channeled a little Gladiator:

Oh, and Roma’s success worked out very well for one bettor, albeit accidentally:

Now that might be even more unexpected than the result itself. And that guy should probably find a fountain to celebrate in himself.
