It wasn’t hard to see that the groundskeeper for the Dutch soccer club Heracles Almelo was trolling this past weekend during one of the team’s games.
After the team fell behind 3-0 to Groningen, the groundskeeper decided to have some fun when clearing the snow. Though there hasn’t been any confirmation, it’s safe to say this work by the groundskeeper was erected to the team’s poor first half.
Yep. There’s no ifs, ands or buts about this one. This was a definitely meant to be a message to the team to get it up and go score some goals. It was a ballsy move, but the team’s performance stayed flaccid. Outside of a goal in the final minute of play, Heracles lost 4-1. Hopefully they’re able to penetrate on offense a little more next time they head out to the pitch.
