Striker Ezequiel Lavezzi had an excellent first half for Argentina against the U.S. in Tuesday’s Copa América Centenario semifinal, scoring their first goal on a lovely lofted pass from Lionel Messi, but he suffered what looked like a significant injury in the second half when he went up for a ball sailing out of bounds and tripped over the side signage boards:

Lavezzi lay prone for a while, but was eventually able to get up and walk off under his own power. There are questions about if he’ll be available for Sunday’s final, though. Argentina clinched their berth in that game with an eventual 4-0 win over the U.S., but they may have to go for the championship without Lavezzi.
