Chilean soccer might not be at the front of your mind on an NFL Sunday, but Rumbo a Primera Chile might give you a reason to pay attention.

But as you can see, exciting things do happen on the soccer pitch on fall afternoons. This includes dazzling long-distance goals.

You can have your solid defensive play during an NFL game. I’ll take this sort of goal. I mean, that’s a heck of a kick from the opposing goalie. But the player at midfield somehow managed to top that with a kick for the ages. As you see, the goalie is running for the goal line, and you know he’s just thinking “Damn. I’m not going to be able to get that,” as the kick flies by him.

We should all be thankful for kicks like this. It’s just one more reason to avoid watching the Cleveland Browns.
