Video: The first trailer for ‘Sharknado 2: The Second One’

Last week, Syfy released a scene from Sharknado 2: The Second One and we were more than happy to post it here. But what we really wanted was a trailer. And now, we have one.

The typical sequel move is to put more money into special effects and casting, trying to make something bigger than the original. That appears to be exactly what happened with Sharknado 2. Honestly, the visual effects look much better. And this one has Vivica A. Fox, Kari Wuhrer, Judd Hirsch and legendary comedian Robert Klein!

Will this be even more brainless, as blockbuster sequels tend to be? How much more ridiculous could it get, really? I suppose we’ll find out on July 30, when this cultural phenomenon-to-be premieres.
