Chris Young makes leaping catch, leaves game with injury

In the bottom of the first inning in today's Angels-Athletics game, A's right fielder Chris Young made this tremendous leaping, diving catch on a liner hit by Brendan Harris of the Angels. The catch ended the inning, and saved two runs for the A's. Michael Taylor would pinch hit for Young in the top of the second inning, ending his day. In his one inning of work, Young also had an RBI double and scored a run in the top of the first, in addition to his great catch in the bottom of the inning. During our preview day of the Athletics two Fridays ago, we named Young the x-factor for the A's this season, and a serious injury to him wouldn't be good for the A's, even if he's only the team's fourth outfielder behind Yoenis Cespedes, Coco Crisp, and Josh Reddick.

UPDATE: It's a quad cramp for Young, and he was removed as a precaution. Nothing serious, thankfully for the A's.
