Dugout Digest – happy Rockies day!

We're now entering the final week of season previews here at TOC…hard to believe, huh? Anyway, this week, we'll be looking at the NL West, and we're just 13 days away from the season kicking off on Sunday night between the Astros and Rangers. It's so close, I can smell it. Today's featured team is the Rockies, who didn't do a whole lot of anything this winter aside from hopefully covering Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez in bubble wrap and hopefully finding an organizational pitching philosophy that doesn't change from year to year.

Last Friday was Tigers day on TOC, and here's a recap of our preview series of the AL champions.

You also missed a SWOT analysis of the Los Angeles Angels, Dr Frank Jobe getting honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame, and Puerto Rico knocking the US out of the WBC and advancing to the semifinals, where they'll face Japan. In the other semifinal, the Dominican Republic will take on the Netherlands.

Welcome to Rockies day, and enjoy your Spring Training, everyone.
