Dugout Digest – the midsummer classic

It's time for the All-Star Game! Woohoo! American League vs National League, live from Citi Field at 8 PM! OK, maybe I'm the only one excited, but that doesn't matter. At the very least, it's baseball. We can handle that, right? Here are the lineups for tonight's game, started by Max Scherzer for the American League and Matt Harvey for the National League. The festivities at Citi Field kicked into high gear last night when Yoenis Cespedes won the Home Run Derby in dominant fashion, and hopefully sparks fly again tonight.

We put out a lot of content yesterday, and will have a lot tomorrow, so I'm just going to go ahead and list everything.

Matt Harvey interviews New Yorkers about…himself.
-TOC's midseason awards series kicks off with NL Rookie of the Year and AL Rookie of the Year.
-Garrett looked at ten potentially surprising trade candidates.
-Our "buyers or sellers" series kicked off with a look at the Philadelphia Phillies.
-Amanda interviewed Doc Gooden on the eve of All-Star mania in New York.

Today, we're going to continue the award series with the NL & AL Cy Young Awards, continue the buyers or sellers series with the Colorado Rockies, and we've got a story about Curtis Granderson being a star in New York off the field despite his injuries on the field this season.

Enjoy the All-Star Game, everybody.
