Dugout Digest – welcome back!

After taking a couple of days to recharge my batteries and enjoy life, I'm back with your morning Dugout Digest. So…what have we missed over the weekend?

PIC OF THE DAY

David Ortiz furthers his legend. (Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports)

The Cardinals lead the Dodgers 2-0 in the NLCS thanks to a pair of one run wins. The Red Sox knotted up the ALCS with the Tigers at one on Sunday night, thanks to a huge home run from David Ortiz and a no thanks to one of the worst fans in the world.

Game 3 of the NLCS is tonight in Los Angeles on TBS at 8 PM. Hyun-Jin Ryu attempts to stop the Dodgers from going down 3-0, and he'll be opposed by…oh, Adam Wainwright. Good luck with that.

Enjoy your day of baseball, everyone.
