Mark Trumbo is already a disaster in the outfield

When the Diamondbacks acquired Mark Trumbo and made the decision to start him in left field on a daily basis, the Internet was quite amused. Thankfully, we didn’t need to wait very long for his first lowlight of the year in the outfield during this morning’s Diamondbacks-Dodgers game in Australia.

Trumbo also nearly allowed Clayton Kershaw (you know, Clayton Kershaw, the pitcher) to take an extra base on him, but he managed to throw him out.

This could be a long year, but rest assured, we’ll be on top of Trumbo’s adventures in left field.
