HOLY MACKEREL! Friday in college basketball was one for the ages

We can write about the college basketball Friday many of you witnessed… or we can bring it to you in videos.

Why not offer a video essay of what March — as a sports month — is all about? Videos convey the magic of an unforgettable Friday better than most words in the English language could.

NOTE: This also happened in Connecticut-Cincinnati. Minor detail, right?

Back to the video buffet:

One more video, but there were also some incredible photos from a day as good as this one. Two really stood out:

All this happened in one day, folks… and that didn’t include Tulane — the last-place team in the AAC — stunning second-seeded Houston in The American quarterfinals AFTER coach Ed Conroy was fired in the middle of the game.

March. Who needs words when the images and actions exist beyond the imagination of any screenwriter?
