Former Baylor QB Jarrett Stidham visits Auburn

Apparently it’s Auburn day here at The Student Section. Gus Malzahn announced that RB Jovon Robinson was no longer with the team. Robinson was expected to carry the load at RB for Auburn, especially after the transfer of Roc Thomas.

Another interesting thing happened at Auburn today. Former Baylor QB Jarrett Stidham was at practice visiting with Gus Malzahn. Stidham was released from his scholarship by Baylor and can transfer to any school outside of the Big 12. He’s not eligible to play in 2016 but he would be a huge addition to Auburn.

The Tigers struggled mightily at QB in 2015. They hope John Franklin III will be the answer but Stidham would be a very interesting prospect for Auburn.

In case you missed it, check out our 2016 preview of the Auburn Tigers. Just ignore the stuff I wrote on Jovon Robinson.
