Look: Navy will wear “Beat Army” uniforms against Army on Saturday

The annual Army/Navy game is this Saturday and if they didn’t need another reason to want to beat each other, here are the uniforms Navy will be wearing against Army…..

The Navy football team will wear Under Armour-designed “Beat Army” uniforms for the 2016 Army-Navy Game presented by USAA on Dec. 10 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore at 3 PM on CBS.

This year’s “Beat Army” uniform is inspired by the uniforms Navy wore during the 1963 football season. Navy went 9-2 in 1963, defeated Army in the Army-Navy game, and faced Texas in the Cotton Bowl on New Year’s Day.

The 2016 uniform top has a block N with four stars on each shoulder, just as Navy wore in the 1963 Army-Navy Game.

Navy’s “Beat Army” motto will appear on the jersey hem and on the palms of the gloves. The helmet will have a blue stripe and anchor decals.
