A week from now, many of you will be watching ESPN’s signature traveling pregame show, the standard-setting College GameDay. One of the men who makes the show work is ESPN’s tear duct-loosening specialist, Tom Rinaldi.
#CollegeFootballTwitter likes to joke about the tone and tenor of Rinaldi’s pieces, but when the smoke clears and the face dries up just below the eyes, it’s clear that Rinaldi is excellent at what he does, a supremely prepared professional who enhances an ESPN broadcast.
